Concern Worldwide: Reaching Their People on the Ground
For Humanitarian Aid Organisation, Concern Worldwide, communication is at the heart of what they do. With operations in 24 countries and 3500 employees responding to emergencies and project managing diverse developments in health, nutrition and education. They work, day to day, with a diverse set of colleagues and range of partners, with the ability to ‘Connect with People on the Ground’ as one of the key requirements for success.
The cost and value of any investment in technology is of extreme importance, as the money they spend is donor money, and at the heart of any investment were the key solution points: a system that was easy to deploy, scalable, and was easy to manage centrally. The solution, too, had to be implemented across remote environments, where there was a lack of IT infrastructure and trained IT staff.
In the video clip, the Concern Worldwide staff clearly benefit in the ease of use and the lack of need for IT support staff.
